The mark consists of a logo of the panamerican sport games is the stylized figure of an athlete holding the Olympic Flame with one hand. The hand also represents the agave plant (from which Tequila is distilled). The stylized shape of the athlete's body is broadly reminiscent of the shape of the American continent.
