Providing educational programs for the African American community, namely, collaborative educational services in the nature of seminars, workshops, and conferences on the subject of education and work-life balance, and professional development opportunities, namely, networking events for educators, faith-based community members and professionals in the field of education of African American students; hosting professional development and networking events for educators, namely, seminars, workshops, and conferences about work-life balance; providing seminars, workshops, conferences, awards, and outreach activities for students and parents with the goal of increasing participation and success in higher education;The mark consists of large capital letters AAREA directly above smaller capital words AFRICAN AMERICAN REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL ALLIANCES, which is directly above a singular line. In between the letters A and R of AAREA is a swoosh that opens in front of the A and sits in front of the R.
