Embodiments provide a method in which a geometric correction function is formed on the basis of geometric association between positions, in display areas of projectors PJa to PJd, of features included in pattern images projected from the projectors and positions, in projection areas of the projectors, of features included in pattern-photographed images obtained by photographing the pattern images projected onto a projection plane from the projectors and in which the projection images projected from the plurality of projectors are corrected to have geometric consistency on the projection plane using the geometric correction function. The densities of feature points in specific areas of the display or projection areas of the projectors are set higher than those of areas other than the overlapping areas.
