Technical Examples
  1. A roof venting system comprising a second roof layer disposed above a first roof layer with a spacer disposed therebetween to provide an air flow channel between the two roof layers. A gap is provided in the upper roof layer at or near the top end of the roof and a vent component is disposed in the gap to beneficially disperse and/or utilize the vented air from the air flow channel. In one embodiment, the spacers have openings to permit air to flow up the roof channel. The vent component can be configured to vent air from the roof, heat water in pipes disposed in communication with the channel, direct the air for use in the interior of the building and/or direct the heated air for use in making electricity. The air can be filtered and/or cooled. A translucent material over the pipes can facilitate sunlight heating of the water.
