Technical Examples
- A connector having a contact including a dual-tabbed wire trap is disclosed. The wire trap includes a first wire retention tab and a second wire retention tab, wherein the wire retention tabs are biased toward one another at an angle to form a wire guide. The wire guide is configured to contact and receive a wire inserted into the wire trap. When the wire is inserted, the first and second wire retention tabs impart a clamping force to retain the wire in the wire trap and prevent its removal. According to one embodiment, the connector is a photoelectric connector for attaching a street lamp or other electrical device to a photoelectric cell.
- Wire attachment and/or tensioning assemblies are described. The ends of wires may be fitted with mateable collar and wedge components to allow the wire to be securely attached to a supporting structure such as, for example, the surface of a railing post. The wire attachment assembly may be rotatably attached to a tensioning device that enables wire tension adjustments without rotating the wire itself, thereby avoiding the need to adjust the opposing end of the wire.
- A semiconductor integrated circuit device having a plurality of circuit elements and a plurality of wires connecting the circuit elements, includes an orthogonal wire having a first minimum wire width which is formed on a first wiring layer and extends horizontally or vertically; a diagonal wire having a second minimum wire width which is substantially equal to the first minimum wire width, formed on a second wiring layer which differs from the first wiring layer and extending in a diagonal direction in relation to the orthogonal wire; and a via having a size which is no greater than the first or second wire width, formed at point at which the orthogonal wire and diagonal wire overlap so as to connect the orthogonal wire and diagonal wire, wherein one of the diagonal wire and orthogonal wire includes an enlarged wire width region in the position at which the via is formed, the wire width of the enlarged wire width region being enlarged beyond the first or second minimum wire width.
