- A windshield washer fluid reservoir tank for a vehicle is externally formed with a side stepping surface, and is internally defined with a space for storing windshield washer fluid replenished through a feeding pipe having a cap, and for allowing the windshield washer fluid stored therein to be pumped to a windshield of the vehicle through supply hoses under the operation of a supply motor pump installed in position within the windshield washer fluid reservoir tank, in order to ensure extended use of the windshield washer fluid without requiring frequent replenishment, by virtue of such a space having a sufficient storage capacity capable of storing a large amount of the windshield washer fluid.
- Images are projected onto two adjacent screens whereby one screen is movable with respect to the second screen. A projection system disposed generally in front of the two screens is capable of displaying images on each screen independently when the two screen are in an "open" position or on both screens together when the two screens are configured in a "closed" position. In a first "open" configuration, the images viewable on one screen are not viewable to the viewers of images on an adjacent screen and, in a second "closed" configuration, images are displayed on both screens together so as to be viewable by all members of the audience. In addition, a berm is configured between the viewing area of one screen and the viewing area of the other screen to create an audio and visual barrier between the two screens.
- A server system directs product selection over a communication network where screens are displayed to a user. The screens are arranged in a sequence. The server system processes user data from user input signals to determine if the user data is consistent with at least one of a plurality of products. The server system transfers a selected one of the screen signals corresponding to a selected one of the screens if the selected one of the screens is backward in the sequence or if all previous ones of the screens in the sequence prior to the selected one of the screens have the consistent data. The server system transfers to the user system over the communication network an earliest one of the screen signals corresponding to an earliest one of the screens in the sequence that does not have the consistent data if the selected one of the screens is forward in the sequence and if the previous ones of the screens in the sequence prior to the selected one of the screens do not all have the consistent data.
- A car defogging system reduces energy required to defog a windshield glass of the car. A temperature sensor mounted at the windshield glass detects the glass surface temperature, Ts. A humidity sensor spaced from the windshield glass by a predetermined distance detects the humidity, H, around the windshield glass. A temperature sensor mounted inside the windshield glass detects peripheral temperature Te around the glass. A system controller determines if fog is or is not present by comparing the dew point temperature Td with the surface temperature Ts. Dew point temperature Td is derived by the combining values of H and a temperature Tc based on a combination of Ts and Te.
- A control system is disclosed for automatically detecting moisture on the windshield of a vehicle. The automatic moisture detecting system includes an optical system for imaging a portion of the windshield onto an image array sensor, such as a CMOS active pixel sensor. The voltage of each of the pixels which represents the illumination level is converted to a corresponding gray scale value by an analog digital converter. The spatial frequency composition of the gray scale values are analyzed to determine the amount of rain present in order to provide a control signal to control the operation of the windshield wipers of the vehicle as a function of the amount of moisture present. The system is also adapted to detect the level of fog both on the interior of the windshield as well as the exterior of the windshield.
