- A protective kneepad for detachable attachment to an attaching portion mounted on the exterior of the workman's pants in which the kneepad is larger lengthwise of the pants that the attaching portion for a range of adjustment both longitudinally and laterally greater than the dimensions of the detaching portion. The kneepad is detachable from the work pants allowing ease of movement and laundry of the work pants without any interference from the kneepad. The method of attachment of the system to the pants of a workman is simple and requires no special skills. Adhesion of the attaching portion to the workpants is enhanced by the application of heat.
- A cable with a waterproof plug includes a cable including a wire and an insulating coating covering the outer circumferential surface of the wire, and a waterproof plug made of an elastic material. The waterproof plug is formed integrally with the cable so as to cover the outer circumferential surface of the insulating coating in an annular region along the length of the cable. The waterproof plug is united to the cable with an adhesive component. By connecting a terminal to the cable at a position nearer to one end of the cable than the portion where the waterproof plug is formed, a connector cable with a waterproof plug is obtained. The cable may be substantially circular in cross section or substantially rectangular in cross section, such as an FFC or FPC.
- The ventilating window of tent according to the present invention comprises a double-side waterproof fabric 111, which is sewn and attached to the rim portion of the ventilating window 102 of the body fabric 101 together with the cover fabric 105, and in which the net yarn fabric 103 is sewn and attached through the outline fabric 104 to the rim portion of the ventilation hole 112 formed inside, and of which both sides are waterproof coated so as for a waterproof tape to be adhered; an inner waterproof tape 122, which is attached to the inlet of the portion that is closely contacted by the sewing line of the double-side waterproof fabric 111 and the cover fabric 105 to prevent rainwater from penetrating through the sewing line part of the double-side waterproof fabric 111 and the cover fabric 105; and an outer waterproof tape 121 that is attached to the sewing line of the body fabric 101 and the double-side waterproof fabric 111 and the border line of these to prevent rainwater from penetrating through the sewing line part of the body fabric 101 and the double-side waterproof fabric 111.
- An aesthetically pleasing fastener for allowing a desired height of a hem of a pants leg to be maintained and repeatedly changed without compromising structural integrity of the pants leg or having to cooperate with a shoe so as to allow the fastener to be used without a need for a shoe. The aesthetically pleasing fastener includes a clip and a covering. The covering covers the clip. The clip receives the hem of the pants leg and allows the desired height of the hem of the pants leg to be maintained and repeatedly changed without compromising the structural integrity of the pants leg or having to cooperate with a shoe so as to allow the fastener to be used without a need for a shoe, while the covering makes the aesthetically pleasing fastener aesthetically pleasing.
- Absorbent product of pants-like shape, such as incontinence pants, including an elastic waist portion, an absorbent element, and a liquidtight outer layer which is intended to enclose the absorbent element on at least that side thereof which faces away from the wearer during use of the article. The elastic waist portion is made from an elastic first piece which is essentially rectangular and is intended to form the rear portion and side portions of the pants-like product. A second piece forms the front portion and crotch portion of the pants-like product. The second piece is elongate, and the width thereof is, at least in the crotch portion, smaller than the length of the first piece. The second piece is arranged with its longitudinal direction at right angles in relation to the longitudinal direction of the first piece and is connected by a first end portion to one longitudinal edge portion of the first piece. One end portion of the first piece is connected to a first side edge portion of the second piece, and the other end portion of the first piece is connected to a second side edge portion of the second piece. The absorbent element is in its entirety arranged on the second piece.
