- A technique for recovering a dropped table is provided. One or more table spaces are specified prior to one or more tables being dropped from the specified one or more table spaces. When a table is to be dropped from the one or more specified table spaces, a table identifier, a time stamp, and table definition attributes are stored for the dropped table in a data structure and the table is dropped. Upon receiving a request to restore a table space from the one or more specified table spaces, each of the one or more tables in the table space being restored is recovered using the data structure.
- The present invention is related to a method and system for preserving an original table schema for a table in a database system that supports dynamic table schema changes. The method and system includes storing the original table schema for the table in a designated table prior to performing a schema change on the table. By storing the original table schema in the designated table, a backup copy of the table that includes rows which are not self-describing can be used for data recovery.
- A table saw includes a primary table having an opening through which a saw blade extends, and an auxiliary table slidably coupled to the primary table at one side. A fence is movable on the primary table and the auxiliary table relative to the saw blade. A first scale is provided on the primary table and exposed to the outside. A first index is provided at the fence for indicating readings of the first scale. A second scale is kept from sight when the auxiliary table is abutted against the primary table and exposed to the outside for reading by a second index when the auxiliary table is pulled outwards from the table.
- A table includes a first table top section and a second table top section A magnet is positioned on the first table top section and a lock block is positioned on the opposing second table top section. The opposing first and second table top sections are magnetically locked together to form the table.
- A table may include a table top, a frame and one or more support members such as legs. Advantageously, the table top may include a generally planar upper surface and a generally planar lower surface. In particular, the lower surface of the table top may be substantially free of any downwardly extending projections such as a lip. Desirably, the table includes a frame and at least a portion of the frame is exposed and visible when the table is being used. In addition, the table may include one or more guard members that are sized and configured to protect portions of the table, such as the corners. Significantly, the guard members may be selectively connected to the table top or the frame, which may allow the guard members to be repaired or replaced.
