Technical Examples
  1. A pair of shining swimming goggles comprises a pair of swimming goggles, a shining module and an electric conducting portion. The shining module is embedded in an inner portion of the swimming goggles. The electric conducting portion is disposed on a surface of the swimming goggles. The electric conducting portion is electrically connected to the shining module, thereby when the swimming goggles are placed in water, the electric conducting portion conducts electricity to the shining module by water to make the shining module shine for showing the position of the swimmer.
  2. A swimming aid training device to improve swimming technique, comprised a buoy assembly and a fin assembly. The buoy assembly is shaped to fit onto the calf area of a swimmer and has a substantially rotated H-shape. In the preferred embodiment, the buoy assembly is made of resilient and buoyant material. The fin assembly comprises fins that are substantially parallel with respect to each other and are kept in a spaced apart relationship by a frame. The swimming aid training device may be configured for volumetrically efficient transportation and/or storage.
  3. A competitive swimming starting system for producing faster starts of competitive swimmers after the start of the race has been signaled. The competitive swimming starting system may include a platform structure for resting on a surface adjacent to a pool, and a light for illuminating to indicate a starting signal for a swimming race. In one embodiment of the invention, the light is mounted on the platform structure in the view of a person positioned on the starting platform structure. The present invention also contemplates a method of signaling the start of a swimming race, which includes providing a competitive swimming starting platform structure positioned adjacent to a pool, providing a light proximate to the starting platform structure in a location in the view of a person positioned on the starting platform structure, and illuminating the light to signal a start of a swimming race.
  4. A swimming aid (10) including a body portion (11), upon which is situated a locating means (12) for the foot of the wearer. The swimming aid (10) also includes a lobular flexible web (13) and at least two ribs (14), each of which contain a plurality of segments (15). The segments of each rib cooperating to stiffen said flexible web against flexion substantially above the plane of said body portion.
  5. A pair of swimming goggles, includes a left and a right goggle frame, wherein a connection bridge connected therebetween, a pair of buckles respectively attached to the left and the right goggle frames, and a head strap adjustably fastened to the buckles. Each buckle includes a base, a cover, a shaft and a fastener, wherein the fastener includes a handle and an engagement protrusion. a tongue integrally extends from a side of the handle and can be leaned against the left and the right goggle frame after assembly. When the swimming goggles is worn on a user's head, it is very convenient to use the swimming goggles of the present invention whenever one needs adjusting an appropriate wearing position.
