  1. A storage device for the bed of a pickup truck has a body with a storage area therein and a scissors lift connected to the body for moving the body between a first position on the bed of the truck and a second position above a side wall of the truck. The scissors lift includes a top plate, a bottom plate, first and second scissors pivotally connected to the top plates and a motor cooperative with the scissors so as to move the top plate relative to the bottom plate. A spring is in tension and extends between the scissors between when the body is in the first position.
  2. A hairdressing scissor assembly includes plural pairs of hairdressing scissors each having two cutting members pivotally connected together, female and male connectors respectively secured to first and second sides of the pairs of hairdressing scissors for joining the pairs of hairdressing scissors. Each female connector has a through hole for receiving one male connector. Each male connector has a retaining block, which has the maximum outer diameter slightly greater than the through hole of each female connector, so that the retaining block of one male connector at one pair of hairdressing scissors is insertable through the through hole of one female connector at another pair of hairdressing scissors by force and stoppable at one end of the through hole of the associating female connector to have the respective male connector and the respective female connector be fastened together to join the pairs of hairdressing scissors.
  3. A scissors for cutting, holding, and then releasing an elongated piece of string. The scissors includes a pair of conventional scissors with a spring-clip attachment. The spring-clip has a long leg, a short leg, and a semi-circular bottom portion attaching the legs together. The short leg is rigidly mounted to a first blade arm of the conventional scissors. While the blade arms pivot toward one another, a portion of the string is retained within the attachment after it is cut and then released from the attachment upon opening of the blade arms.
  4. A combination hairdressing scissor assembly is disclosed to include a plurality of male connecting members and a plurality of female connecting members symmetrically provided at two opposite sides of each pair of hairdressing scissors for enabling a plural pairs of hairdressing scissors to be connected in parallel by fastening the male connecting members of one pair of hairdressing scissors into the female connecting members of another pair of hairdressing scissors, each female connecting member having a front receiving open chamber, each male connecting member having two parallel insertion blocks engageable into the front receiving open chamber of the corresponding female connecting member by force.
  5. A combination hairdressing scissor assembly comprises a plurality of male connecting members and a plurality of female connecting members symmetrically provided at two opposite sides of each pair of hairdressing scissors for enabling plural pairs of hairdressing scissors to be connected in parallel by fastening the male connecting members of one pair of hairdressing scissors into the female connecting members of another pair of hairdressing scissors, each female connecting member having two clamping arms and two elastic stop strips connected between the clamping arms at top and bottom sides for securing the respective male connecting member in place upon insertion of the respective male connecting member into the opening between the clamping arms.
