Technical Examples
  1. An apparatus for the treatment of, in particular for vacuum action upon, the at least one wire or at least one felt band in a papermaking plant. The wire or felt band is moved in circulation by the apparatus, which, if appropriate, is connected to a vacuum source. The apparatus has a carrying device assigned to the wire or felt band and a multiplicity of supporting elements are disposed at a distance from one another.
  2. This invention relates to a papermaking felt which makes it possible to increase the proportion of the base body thereby preventing flattening without costing extra production man-hour, and to maintain the functions such as the water drainage, wet paper smoothening capability, and wet paper web transport capability throughout its entire use period. The papermaking felt is composed of a base body and a batt fiber layer, characterized in that one or more thicknesses of endless base bodies are disposed on the felt back-face side and one or more thicknesses of open-ended base bodies is annularly wound not less than one turn on the felt front-face side.
  3. A biocompatible multipolymer, having a backbone comprising about 10 to 45 wt % of at least one hard segment and about 55 to 90 wt % of soft segments. The soft segments are divided into three groups, 5 to 25 wt %, of total soft segment weight, of an oxygen permeable soft segment; 5 to 25 wt %, of total soft segment weight, of a hydrophilic soft segment; and 50 to 90 wt %, of total soft segment weight, of a biostable, relatively hydrophobic soft segment.
  4. A composite circuit board comprises multiple soft panels evenly mounted on a rigid panel. The soft panels are positioned on the rigid panel in proper alignment via locating pins on the rigid panel and corresponding holes in the soft panels. The soft panels are securely bonded to the rigid panel to form the composite circuit boards. The smaller size of the soft panels minimizes the alignment problems caused by the different heat expansion rates of the soft panel and the rigid panel.
  5. A method and apparatus facilitate soft handover in a CDMA RAN (100) based on a requested set of soft handover parameters from a plurality of sets of soft handover parameters associated with a corresponding plurality of radio configurations. A mobile station (140) can request a set of soft handover parameters associated with a radio configuration. Candidate base stations (BTS 1-BTS N) can be added to an active list based on the soft handover parameters.
