  1. A board game for at least two individuals to play. The board game is a modified form of soccer that uses roofing nails pounded into a flat surface as "players," a marble as a soccer ball, and a pair of Popsicle sticks as shooters. In addition, an elastic band is wrapped around into a rectangular fashion to have a rectangular-shaped playing field.
  2. An inflatable sport ball, such as a basketball, a football, a soccer ball, a volleyball or a playground ball, is provided with a self-contained inflation mechanism, or multiple self-contained inflation mechanisms, for inflating or adding pressure to the ball and a pressure sensor and pressure indicator to indicate the internal pressure of the ball. The inflation mechanism is a pump which is positioned and retained inside of the ball and which is operable from outside of the ball to pump ambient air into the ball. The pressure indicator provides a numerical indication of the internal pressure of the ball as measured or determined by the pressure sensor.
  3. A device for teaching the basic kicks of soccer to students of the game. The device has a mat portion with a ball support thereon, to raise the ball to the elevated position it would be in when laying on grass. The mat includes an alignment arrow to direct the approach of the kicker, a circumscribed open area for the non-kicking foot to be prior to ball impact with a specifically notated ball, that rests on the support. The ball is color coded with sweet spots where impact is to take place for a specific kick. The ball also includes similarly color coded arrow lines, which serve to guide the placement of the ball onto the support to align the ball correctly relative to the kicker's shoe for the shot being taught. Teaching information is also found on the mat portion as a mental reinforcement to a lesson.
  4. A testing apparatus is disclosed that is suitable for a game ball, such as a soccer ball, and a variety of other spherical or non-spherical objects. The testing apparatus includes a housing with the configuration of an air foil. A shaft extends through the housing, and a mount for securing the game ball to an end of the shaft. A motor is operatively connected to an opposite end of the shaft and is utilized to rotate the game ball in a wind tunnel. The testing apparatus also includes a sensor, such as a two-axis force balance, that detects various fluid forces upon the game ball, including a drag force and a side force, for example.
  5. A method for manufacturing square bottom plastic bags designed to stand upright when opened. The bags are constructed with open tops, side handle openings and attached headers or with t-shirt style handles. The bags are produced in registered bag stacks and include means for adhering a rear surface of one bag to a front surface of a subsequent bag making the bags self-opening when used in dispensing rack. The headered bags have tear-off headers or headers with weakened areas that will rupture upon dispensing. The t-shirt bags have apertures through the handles to suspend the bags on a rack or a header attached above the handles. The bags have detachable or rupturable center tabs. The bags are registered with hot pins or cold stakes through an upper portion of the bags or bag handles. The bags have openings, microperforations, or are formed of porous material to dissipate heat or moisture.
