- An artificial Christmas tree comprising a plurality of tiers configured to facilitate assembly for use and disassembly for storage including a lower substantially frustum conical tier to support an open mesh substructure to receive and support a plurality of simulated sprays or Christmas tree branches and Christmas decorations, an intermediate substantially frustum conical tier to support an open mesh substructure to receive and support a plurality of simulated sprays or Christmas tree branches and Christmas decorations and an upper substantially conical tier to support an open mesh substructure to receive and support a plurality of simulated sprays or Christmas tree branches and Christmas decorations.
- An optical fiber decoration device has various merits: small power consumption, no danger of fire, simple water-proof design and economical, battery can be used, excellent portability, long service life of light source, and no danger of destruction during transportation. The optical fiber decoration device is characterized by having an LED light source consisting of a plurality of LED's which are arranged at an end of optical fiber for emitting one or more colors and partially superimposed, enabling synthesis of colors. In FIG. 1, the optical fiber decoration device (I) includes an LED light source unit (2) and an optical fiber (1a). The distance L between the LED light source (2) and the optical fiber is 5 to 100 mm. Red, blue, and green LED's are used to realize multiple colors. The optical fiber decoration device can be used for signboards, outdoor decorations, bus advertisement, indoor decorations, decorations in an aquarium, unit type Christmas trees, clothes, and the like.
- A snow ski tow bar adapts a prior art aircraft tow bar for attachment to a landing gear of an aircraft to which a snow ski has been attached. The snow ski tow bar modifies an existing tow bar with a second set of connectors that adapt the snow ski tow bar for connection to the landing gear of the aircraft having the snow ski. In addition, the existing wheels of the prior art tow bar are replaced with a second set of wheels that are spaced outwardly from the original wheels. This positions the second set of wheels on the snow ski tow bar where they are extended outside the lateral width of the snow ski on the landing gear. The second set of wheels support the tow bar in a position above the snow ski with the second set of tow bar connectors connected to the aircraft landing gear.
- A display representing a tree, such as a Christmas tree, has a trunk made of a hollow tube and held by a base in substantially vertical position. A liquid, such as water, is placed in the tube and an air supply in or near the bottom of the tube generates bubbles that rise through the tube. The tube and bubbles therein are preferably illuminated to add to the effectiveness of the display. Illumination can be provided by LED's which avoid the heat of incandescent lamps. Branches are secured to the trunk tube and extend outwardly therefrom to support a foliage garland to provide tree foliage and give the display the appearance of a tree. The tree can be provided as a separate trunk tube portion, base, and foliage garland so the parts can be packed and shipped without the base attached to the tube.
- The invention relates to a method for generating natural language in computer based dialog system. The invention generating an input tree from an input file of a simple semantic representation language (SSRL) statements; inserting elementary syntactic information into the tree; applying elementary operations such as sub-tree insertion and manipulation; accessing lexical and language specific information; generating syntactic structures oriented towards normalized interface structures from the structured deep syntactic input tree; realizing and expanding structure types by inserting and/or transforming of pre-defined structures, inserting determiners and ordering sub-structures; generating morphologic transformations; carrying out final refinements, comprising phonetic refinement, pretty print and/or cleaning operations of the tree and the node decorations and outputting a graphic and/or textual representation of the final tree structure.
