  1. A modular manifold system is provided for interconnecting fluid components of a fluid system in a reduced area The system is comprised of a one or more bridge fittings having an internal fluid passageway which has an inlet end in fluid communication with an outlet port of a first fluid component, and an outlet end in fluid communication with an inlet port of a second fluid component. The bridge fittings may be mounted within a channel of a backing plate for structural support. An optional locator plate may be utilized which is mounted over the ends of the bridge fittings in order to align the inlet and outlet ports of the fluid components with the inlet and outlet ends of the bridge fittings. The bridge fittings may also be mounted to the locator plate in multiple directions forming multiple flow paths. Additionally, the bridge fittings may be stacked to form multiple layers where bridge fittings of one layer may be in fluid communication with bridge fittings of another layer. The invention may further comprise seals provided in a recess between the fluid ports and the mating bridge fittings ends.
  2. An eave gutter is provided. A downspout is operatively coupled to the gutter. A plurality of spraying components has fittings and nozzles. The fittings and nozzles are positioned at spaced locations along the gutter. A conduit couples a fluid source and the fittings and nozzles to provided fluid to the gutter. Control components are provided along the conduit to the fittings and nozzles.
  3. Solenoid valves (20) are mounted in a valve body (30) placed in a casing (C). An intermediate connector (10) is provided with valve fittings (15), and connectors (22) of the respective solenoid valves (20) are fittable into the valve fittings (15) at once as the intermediate connector (10) is assembled. The solenoid valves (20) are displaceable horizontally relative to brackets (40) on the valve body (30). During assembly, first positioning pins (16) on the intermediate connector (10) are inserted into first positioning recesses (31) in the valve body (30) and second positioning pins (25) on the connectors (22) are inserted into second positioning recesses (17) in the valve fittings (15). Thus, the connectors (22) are positioned in postures for fitting into the valve fittings (15).
  4. System for detecting stability/instability of behavior of a motor vehicle upon occurrence of tire slip or lock. State of the motor vehicle is determined on the basis of an alignment torque (Ta) applied from a road and a side slip angle (?). By taking advantage of such torque/slip-angle characteristic that although the alignment torque is proportional to a side slip angle when the latter is small, the alignment torque becomes smaller as the side slip angle increases, a normal value is determined from a straight line slope and the side slip angle in a region where the latter is small. Unstable behavior of the motor vehicle is determined when deviation of actual measured value from the normal value increases. Further, unstable state is determined when the slope of the alignment torque for the slip angle departs significantly from that of approximate straight line slope.
  5. System for detecting stability/instability of behavior of a motor vehicle upon occurrence of tire slip or lock. Further, unstable state is determined when the slope of the alignment torque for the slip angle departs significantly from that of approximate straight line slope.
