- An after-market shade for a strip light, typically containing several bare bulbs, either clear or frosted. The shade is a molded mainly one-piece translucent shade, or a translucent shade with two end caps for mounting. The shade is not attached to the fixture but to the wall, or possibly ceiling, on which the strip light is mounted. The shade is typically curved or half cylindrical. Translucent sheets with decorative patterns or colors may be mounted on the inside or outside of the shade to produce decorative effects and coordinate with room decor.
- Disclosed is a hat with a shade panel that is constructed so as to achieve optimal optical efficiency. The shade panel is adapted to be attached to the crown of the hat via a flexible connecting member. The shade panel is moveable between a retracted position, in which the shade panel is positioned inside a cavity of the hat, and an extended position, in which the shade panel is positioned outside of the cavity of the hat, orienting the shade panel substantially vertically and in close proximity to a wearer's face.
- A system is provided for properly resizing a window shade to fit within a window frame adjacent a window. At least one ruler strip is provided with visible graduations thereon. Indicia are provided adjacent at least some of the graduations. The indicia are descriptive of a width of a window frame in which the window shade will fit when the window shade is cut at the graduation adjacent to that indicia. A retainer is also provided for holding and guiding of a cutting tool during cutting of the window shade for proper resizing.
- An aesthetically pleasing attachment for removeably mounting auxiliary lenses on standard styles of eyeglasses configurations eyeglasses, and that will securely retain the auxiliary lenses in desired position without obstructing or distorting the view of the wearer or damaging the lenses of the eyeglasses, includes a pair of auxiliary lenses attached to a bridge member, and at least one gripper member associated with each auxiliary lens adapted to engage a rear upper surface of the eyeglasses frame or lenses, at or near the connecting bridge of the eyeglasses frame.
- A lens combined with a soft eyeglasses rim includes a lens and a soft eyeglasses rim. The lens is provided with plural holes spaced apart near a circumference in advance, and then placed in a mold for making the soft eyeglasses. Then the soft eyeglasses rim is injected molded in the mold with the finished lens previously placed. Thus the soft eyeglasses rim is formed with plural projections corresponding to and fitting in the plural holes of the lens as fused to keep the rim with the lens in a stable and secured condition.
