- A roof module (10) of a motor vehicle roof (2), especially of a passenger car (1), which is mounted on a fixed body structure and which forms the top of the motor vehicle roof (2), to increase utility, the roof module is provided with guide rails (18) for movable attachment of at least one roof module component (17, 23, 26).
- In a storage system that includes multiple disk drives, the disk drive packaging density is increased, and maintainability and serviceability, as well as cooling performance, are improved. The storage system includes multiple racks, multiple disk drives and multiple cooling devices. The multiple racks are arranged to form a substantially polygonal cylinder-shaped central space used to enable maintenance work to be carried out. The multiple disk drives are detachably mounted to one side of inside and outside of the multiple racks, and are arranged to form a first surface in each of the multiple racks. The multiple cooling devices are arranged to form a second surface in each of the multiple racks. The second surface is substantially parallel to the first surface.
- A roof venting system comprising a second roof layer disposed above a first roof layer with a spacer disposed therebetween to provide an air flow channel between the two roof layers. A gap is provided in the upper roof layer at or near the top end of the roof and a vent component is disposed in the gap to beneficially disperse and/or utilize the vented air from the air flow channel. In one embodiment, the spacers have openings to permit air to flow up the roof channel. The vent component can be configured to vent air from the roof, heat water in pipes disposed in communication with the channel, direct the air for use in the interior of the building and/or direct the heated air for use in making electricity. The air can be filtered and/or cooled. A translucent material over the pipes can facilitate sunlight heating of the water.
