- A system and method for providing generated, synchronized, and displayed video time code for recording on film or videotape during the recording of the film or videotape in production. The system, in an embodiment thereof, comprises a slate wherein the generated, synchronized, and displayed video time code provides a visual marker for enabling post-production editing of the film or videotape. The slate enables generation of the video time code, synchronization thereof with a master clock audio time code, and displaying of the video time code. It also enables the setting of video and audio rates and modes of operation, the providing of portable power, and the retaining of data memory. The slate further enables scroll-back operations, and the displaying of operational parameters.
- A method and a plant for simultaneous production of a gas for injection into an oil field and production of methanol, dimethyl ether and/or other oxygenated hydrocarbons or production of higher hydrocarbons from natural gas is disclosed. - Embodiments include providing a gas lift system comprising production tubing disposed within a wellbore, the production tubing capable of allowing fluid flow in a first direction from outside the production tubing through a wall of the production tubing to inside the production tubing to introduce a gas into the bore of the production tubing, while preventing fluid flow in a second direction from inside the production tubing through the wall of the production tubing to outside the production tubing. - This invention relates to a production system for retail goods which is intended for timely collection of accurate sales information from retail outlets and flexible production of goods in accordance with the same information, and includes sales information collecting units for collecting sales information at a plurality of sales outlets, a production size determining unit for determining a production quantity to be produced in the future for a plurality of goods based on the sales information received from the plurality of sales information collecting units, and a production unit for flexibly manufacturing the plurality of goods based on the sales information which is collected at the plurality of sales information collecting units. After the production size determining unit determines the production quantity, output data indicative of the production quantity determined by the production size determining unit is transmitted to the production unit so that the production unit manufactures the production quantity of the plurality of goods.
