Technical Examples
- A system and method for determining the availability of a restricted class of tickets is provided. In one embodiment, an initial number of restricted tickets are made available for purchase. Purchase orders are received and processed by an event server. The event server is configured to assess the volume of sales and determine whether sales meet expectations. If expectations are not met, the server takes steps to change the availability of restricted tickets. Further, embodiments of the invention provide methods and systems for determining the optimal selling price and availability of restricted tickets based on revenue goals, supply/demand, event capacity, and other factors.
- The paper object processing device comprises a take-out roller which feeds tickets where one surface side is a heat-sensitive surface and the other surface side is a non heat-sensitive surface, a conveying path which conveys the fed ticket, a bar-code reader which reads the bar-code recorded on the heat-sensitive surface of the ticket conveyed, stacking sections which stack the tickets whose bar-codes have been read, a sealing device which seals a band on the stacked tickets which have been stacked, and a thermal head which heat-prints control information on the heat-sensitive surface of the stacked tickets which have been sealed.
- A print job is preferably displayed using a visual job ticketing application. An operator is enabled to create multiple job tickets describing print parameters to be applied to the print job. Using the visual job ticketing application, the operator may select a previously created job ticket to be used to display and/or print the print job. Alterations made to the print job are automatically propagated across all associated print job tickets. When creating new print job tickets, the operator may choose to start with a blank job ticket, a default job ticket, the last active job ticket or any previously created job ticket.
