  1. A system and method for co-ordinating the supply of information from content service providers to a user, the system and method employing agents to search advertising boards for requested information or services. More specifically, a distributed platform is used for co-ordinating user access to information or services provided by content service providers. The platform comprises a user interface, a first advertising board for advertising services of information brokers and a first searching agent for searching the first advertising board for services that could be used by the user. The platform further comprises a second advertising board for advertising the services of information content suppliers, a second searching agent for searching the second advertising board for available services based on results of the search of the first advertising board and the request from the user.
  2. A system and a method for measuring and monitoring effectiveness of on-line advertising are provided. The system and method provide a code attached to, for example, an advertising banner of a company that may advertise goods and/or services of the company. The code provides a signal to a server when the banner is viewed on a computer of a user. Cookie data is transferred by the server to the computer of the user providing information related to viewing of the advertising banner. Surveys are further presented to users to obtain information related to the effectiveness of the advertising for both exposed users and control users.
  3. The subject invention is directed to a method and system for selecting and purchasing media advertising in a user/server environment accessed through a Web site. The method includes accessing a server system through a Web site by an advertiser in which the advertiser provides information relating to buying criteria and customer data through a form on the Web page in order to select and purchase media advertising. The server system receives and processes the information in order to create at least one media advertising rate request. The server system transmits the rate request to at least one media outlet for processing. The media outlet processes the rate request and transmits the processed rate request to the server system. The server system manipulates the processed rate request to create a media advertising schedule and then transmits the advertising schedule to the advertiser. The advertiser receives the schedule, makes a media advertising purchase decision and transmits the purchase decision back to the server system. Thereafter, the server system transmits the media advertising purchase decision to the media outlet for reserving the purchased advertising.
  4. An advertisement display system, for use with a plurality of existing portable toilets arranged side-to-side with a gap between the toilets, for providing a substantially continuous advertising presentation. The system comprises a plurality of bracket assemblies each of which are selectively vertically attached along a corner of the toilet, and a plurality of substantially rectangular advertising panel assemblies which are selectively inserted between adjacent pairs of the bracket assemblies. The bracket assemblies include a plurality of intermediary bracket assemblies which are selectively mounted to the corners of the intermediary toilets in the series. A projecting portion of the intermediary bracket assembly extends beyond the side of the toilet to which it is attached. Accordingly, the advertising panel inserted into a vertical channel within the projecting portion also extends into the gap, thereby allowing the advertising display system to appear to be a single, continuous advertising panel.
  5. The invention concerns a method and system for producing a document containing user requested information, identifying an advertising space, outside an area of the document to be occupied by the information, and printing the document with advertising material in the space.
