- A decorative lighting apparatus includes a decorative light strand having first, second, and third wires, each with a plurality of lamps coupled in series therealong, and a return wire coupled to ends of the first, the second, and the third wires. Each lamp of the plurality of lamps has a first light-emitting diode (LED) device coupled in parallel and in reverse orientation with a second LED device. The first, the second, and the third wires are positioned together such that each lamp of the first, the second, and the third pluralities are positioned adjacent to each other but sufficiently separated such that little or no color mixing occurs between the lamps. The apparatus also includes a controller adapted to control the plurality of lamps to provide different user-selectable color schemes in various simultaneously-illuminated combinations of color.
- A control for a flashlight system in an airport, includes flash units which are connected to an energy supply line and, on the output side, to respective flashlights of the flashlight system via a light cable. In order to avoid unwanted high voltages, each flash light unit includes an energy-integrating low-voltage capacitor which can be supplied by a current source having a corrected power factor and which is connected to the flashlights embodied as low-voltage lights. The energy transmitted to the flashlights can be electronically controlled. A connection device connecting the flash units to a local master control system is embodied as a local field bus system, in such a way that different, conventionally arranged, simultaneous or mixed flash configuration patterns can be produced by way of the same electrical installation.
- A lighting device for festival decoration comprises a plurality of decorative lamp blocks wired in series successively, each block having a two-row lamp fixture; a lamplight controller and a knob switch for regulating lamplights electrically coupled with the wired decorative lamp blocks. The decorative lamp block consists of two-row lampshades, a box body and a lamp body. According to the invention, the lighting device for festival decoration comprises a plurality of decorative lamp blocks having two-row decorative lamps controlled by the lamplight controller, wherein each block is electrically connected for an equal period of time and started up at a different point of time, so that the decorative lamp blocks are powered on successively to give out special run-after lighting effects at a run-after speed regulated by the knob switch.
- A decorative device to simulate a snowfield in a decorative winter scene. In one embodiment, the decorative device is comprised of white pigmented, silicone rubber elements having rounded edges and molded generally to resemble a snowfield. The decorative device can be applied to a structure in a decorative winter scene or it can also be applied to a surface surrounding a structure in a decorative winter scene. A method of transforming a decorative season inspecific model for use in a winter theme decorative scene is provided.
- In a backlight assembly and a liquid crystal display apparatus, a plurality of lamps disposed in a receiving space of the backlight assembly is spaced apart from each other by various intervals between the lamps depending upon positions at which the lamps are disposed. Each of the lamps may also have an external electrode having a different area from each other or due to the positions at which the lamps are disposed. Furthermore, each of the lamps may have a different amount of discharge gas injected thereinto due to the positions at which the lamps are disposed. Accordingly, the liquid crystal display apparatus may provide a uniform brightness, and prevent deterioration of display quality thereof.
