- A unit (1) for transferring articles (1a) from a machine (MI) for producing the articles to a packaging machine (MA) includes a plurality of hoppers (4a) for receiving the articles (1a). The hoppers (4a) are situated between an outlet station (3) of the producing machine (MI) and an inlet station (6) of the packaging machine (MA). The hoppers (4a) are arranged at a variable distance from one another and move alternatively between a first working configuration (A), in which the hoppers (4a) are moved closer to each other, in order to be situated in the region of, and in registry with, an outlet station (3) of the producing machine (MI), so as to receive the articles (1a), and a second working configuration (B), in which the hoppers (4a) are moved far from each other, in order to be situated in the region of, and in registry with, an inlet station (6) of the packaging machine (MA), so as to transfer the articles (1a) to the inlet station (6).
- In laner apparatus for automatically arranging articles into lanes on a conveyor, for example for packaging or further processing, the articles are fed onto a conveyor upstream of a fence that extends at an acute angle to the direction of travel of the conveyor. The fence has gateways at intervals along its length and gates that control passage of the articles through the gateways and into lanes downstream of the fence. These downstream lanes may feed the articles onto slides for packaging or further processing. Articles that do not pass through a gateway move to the downstream end of the fence by the reaction forces resulting from motion of the conveyor and the angle of the fence. A control unit reads signals from sensors which are placed downstream of the fence, and preferably downstream of the laner apparatus, to determine whether each downstream lane is full and sends signals to selectively open and close the gates.
- The present invention provides a seasoning processing system capable of uniform seasoning and, moreover, having superior cleanability. A seasoning processing system (2) according to the present invention comprises a seasoning dispersion apparatus (20) and a vertical pillow-type bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus (30). The seasoning dispersion apparatus (20) disperses powdered seasoning to be adhered to supplied intermediate articles (X . . . X) from an end part (22b), which is a dispersing mouth, of a second conduit (22). The vertical pillow-type bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus (30) introduces and packages inside a bag shaped packaging material (Fc) seasoned articles (X2. . . X2) to which the powdered seasoning has been adhered. Furthermore, the end part (22b), which is the dispersing mouth,of the second conduit (22) is provided and arranged so that it is positioned inside the bag shaped packaging material (Fc). A first electrical charging mechanism is provided to charge the seasoning with a polarity and a second electrical charging mechanism is provided to a transverse sealing mechanism of the packaging material to charge the packaging material with the same polarity as the seasoning. In this manner the seasoning and the packaging material repel each other during the sealing operation.
