Technical Examples
  1. The invention relates to overalls, manufactured by polypropylene and polyethylene, usable as protective clothing, in particular suitable as barrier against biological agents. The overalls provide a very high level of protection against the penetration of liquids and microorganisms, excellent mechanical properties, including tear and abrasion resistance, outstanding softness, drapeability and comfort.
  2. A combined hamper and wash bag which provides a convenient arrangement for separating and maintaining separation of pairs of socks or small laundry items from large items prior to washing and throughout the washing and drying process. The bag comprises a mesh bag portion having one open end, having drawstrings for the closures, and zippers for closures. A center webbing, used to secure the several bags in place, and a hanging feature used for hanging the invention on a hook for easy access. The openings comprising the mesh bag are of adequate size to allow sufficient water flow. The bags are filled with one pair of socks, placed with the laundry into the washer and dryer thereby maintaining separation and eliminating the loss of socks. The pre and post sorting of socks will not be needed and the time spent to do this task is virtuously gone forever.
  3. The invention comprises a clip device that will separately hold each of a pair of clothing items, one to each side of the unit, during a mechanical laundry activity or while in storage. The purpose of the product is to prevent loss of either of a pair of small clothing items such as a mated pair of socks. The clip device has a left and a right separately hinged top section, with the hinges near the middle, which permits each top section to be separately raised for the placing of the clothing item. Each top section then is snapped closed using a separate lock and release mechanism on each side. Each side of the clip device has cone shaped grippers protruding in an alternating pattern from both the top and bottom sections to hold the item securely during the mechanical washing and drying of socks.
  4. The present invention provides for an apparatus and method for conveying a bowling pin into a Pin Sock at a bowling alley. This invention stitches a Hardened Inserting into a Pin Sock. The lip of the Hardened Insert extends beyond the end of output exit of the Pin Sock. Moreover, the output exit of the Pin Sock is larger than traditional Pin Socks. The insertion of a Hardening Insert makes the Pin Sock, and in particular the lower end of the Pin Sock more durable against the constant wear and tear caused by bowling pins entering the sock from an Overflow Chute. By reducing this wear and tear, the bowling pins exiting the Pin Sock would cause less damage to the Transport Band where the pins are deposited after exiting the Pin Sock. Additionally, the enlarged output exit reduces the possibility of pin jams as compared to traditional Pin Socks.
  5. One-cylinder circular knitting machine for production of hose-like knitwear, such as socks, etc., that are closed at one of their ends, is provided with an dial plate (3) situated above the needle cylinder of the machine and equipped with dial sinkers (4, 4') for cooperation with needles (1) during transferring the knitting. The machine is provided with a device for transferring the retained knitting of the toe pouch (V) knitted on a half-circle of needles (1) from one half of the dial sinkers (4) to the other half of the dial sinkers (4').
