- A data entry pad arrangement includes twenty-six letters of the Roman alphabet arranged in a matrix including six rows of three to six letters per row. Ideally, no two adjacent letters in a row of the matrix are in alphabetical order. A method for designing a data-entry interface layout including letters of the Roman alphabet thereon involves the transposition of the letters of the Roman alphabet on a three-row QWERTY keyboard into six rows, wherein a letter (optimally every other letter) within a first, second, or third row of said three-row QWERTY keyboard is placed in an additional row substantially below an adjacent letter of said first, second, or third row.
- A sign assembly includes a fixture capable of being attached to a sign support structure. The sign assembly also includes a canopy which can slideably engage the fixture to provide cover for the sign support structure. The canopy can be foldable and can include lights to illuminate a sign held by the sign support structure. The lights can be provided power through contacts which are engaged when the canopy is attached to the fixture.
- A system and method for mounting a flexible material sign to a billboard structure includes a plurality of tensioning clamps affixed to the billboard structure. Each of the plurality of clamps includes a bracket adapted to be secured to the billboard structure and an adjustable J-bolt moveably secured to the bracket. The J-bolt includes a hooked section for passing through and hanging the flexible material sign to the billboard structure. To tautly mount the flexible material sign to the billboard structure, the brackets are secured to the billboard structure with fasteners. The hooked sections of the J-bolts are passed through the sign to hang the sign from the billboard structure. The J-bolts are adjusted relative to the bracket to hang the sign a preselected distance from the billboard structure and to apply a tension to the sign to maintain a desired tautness of the sign.
