- This invention relates to a chair, particularly to one provided with a massage device positioned in a seat, backrest, thigh rest or armest. The massage device is composed of a frame and massage roller unit consisting of plural rows of massage rollers fixed in the frame. Two pivotal plates are provided with a center shaft hole for center shaft and two shaft holes respectively for a center shaft and two independent shafts to fit pivotally therein and string each row of the massage rollers. The center shaft is pivotally connected with the inner side of the frame, enabling the massage roller device rotate with the center shaft as a pivot. So when a user rests the body on the massage device, he/she shifts the body to get massage function by the massage surface of the massage roller device.
- A wearable massage apparatus is formed from a main body having a first side. At least one massage head is positioned on the first side of the body. The apparatus further includes an arrangement for securing the main body to a user. A control module is connected to the at least one massage head for controlling movement thereof. The massage head on the first side of the main body is positioned adjacent the user's body and upon being secured thereto by the securing arrangement, the control module is selectively activated thereby causing the at least one massage head to oscillate and massage the user.
- A warm air massager for heating and massaging a body part includes a massage node which includes openings for directing streams of heated air to the body part being massaged. The body part is massaged by the reciprocating motion of the massage node produced by an internal massage motor. The massage motor may rotate to cause an eccentric connector to impart reciprocating motion to a shaft coupled to the massage node. The massage motor may be located within the housing, within the massage node, or there may be multiple massage motors located in each of the housing and the massage node. Intake ambient air enters the massage housing by means of a fan which withdraws ambient air from outside, directs the ambient air through a heater element and directs streams of the heated air through the massage node to the body part being massaged. Each of the fan, the heater element and the massage motor or motors may include multiple settings. The fan and massage motor are preferably separately controlled.
- A massage device has a close-packed presenting structure of massage elements, mounted on a working unit. The presenting structure is sufficiently closely packed to prevent insertion of an adult's digit, e.g. finger or toe, into the spaces between respective ones of the massage elements. Such close packing, in a drum-type structure of closely-packed massage elements, prevents a user from accidental injury to his/her fingers or toes if and as the presenting structure is rotating about an axis of rotation. The massage device can have a heel rest, a variable speed drive, and/or a heater which heats the massage elements.
- The massage device has a housing, which includes a massage head integral with the housing. The massage head has a first massaging surface. A heating element, integral with the housing, is positioned sufficiently proximate to the first massaging surface to raise a temperature of the first massaging surface above ambient temperature. The massage device also includes a massage head cover formed to engage the massage head, said massage head cover comprising a second massaging surface and a freezable material.
