- Methods for graphically representing interactions among entities within an organization are provided. These methods, in their basic form, include providing graphical objects corresponding to the entities, varying graphical properties of the graphical objects to correspond to preselected attributes of the entities, and displaying on a display screen the graphical objects and interactions between the entities represented by the graphical objects. The specific graphical methods described and claimed include interactions between units within an organization, interactions between members within a unit of an organization, interactions between a member and other members within an organization, interactions between hypothetical units within an organization, and interactions between members of units within an organization. As used herein, "organization" denotes any grouping of individuals or units of individuals, including communities and companies.
- A system and method for creating and/or rearranging musical content on a mobile device such as a cellphone or personal digital assistant (PDA), or on a computer for subsequent download and interactive playback on a mobile device. The method includes the creation and use of a digital music file, preferably consisting of MIDI sequence data, defining a musical composition having distinct musical parts, and the creation and use of a control file used in the rearrangement of the musical parts. In another aspect, the musical score displaying data include at least one of first attribute information for variably controlling the display position of the note or musical score symbol in a horizontal direction and second attribute information for variably controlling the display position of the note or musical score symbol in a vertical direction. With such first and second attribute information, the display position of the note or musical score symbol can be changed to an easier-to-view position.
- A learning aid and a method of making and using it are disclosed, and relate to the configuring of chord indicia in an ordered sequence to designate groups of chords for certain given musical keys. The chord indicia and musical key indicia are arranged in a matrix. The matrix is arranged in overlapping columns, and each column is designated with an individual one of the musical key indicia. The columns are arranged such that each group of chords comprises a plurality of columns such that each key indicia comprises a designated column and at least one adjacent other key column.
- Based on music performance data, music score display data are composed for displaying a music score representing the music performance. A user inputs his/her musical skill to the apparatus. Referring to a musical skill level versus music score item correspondence table, music score items to be exhibited in the music score are determined to meet the musical skill as inputted by the user, and are included in the composed music score display data. Thus, a music score containing assisting as well as necessary detailed musical signs and indications which meet the user's musical skill will be displayed in addition to the main musical notation of the note progression.
