  1. The glassware scarf is a flexible, absorbent device used to soak up excessive condensation from glassware. The scarf is wrapped about a stem of a glass, such as a wineglass, sherbet glass, etc., and absorbs condensation that drips down from the bowl of the glass. The glassware scarf has a rectangular central body portion and first and second ends tapering from opposite ends of the rectangular central body portion. A slit is defined in the rectangular body portion adjacent to the first end. The glassware scarf is wrapped about the stem of the glass, and the second end is drawn through the slit and pulled so that the glassware scarf is secured about the stem.
  2. A ceramic composition is provided to protect glassware from corrosion in a dishwasher. The ceramic composition contains at least one compound which releases an active agent during washing and/or rinsing cycles of a dishwasher to protect glassware from corrosion.
  3. An arrangement for measuring components has a manipulator, at least one measuring system in operative connection with the manipulator, the at least one measuring system including at least one contour measuring device associated with the manipulator and generating an optical sensing surface sweeping a measuring region, an at least one measuring object arranged in the measuring region and at least one reference feature associated with the measuring object; and a method of measurements is performed with the arrangement.
  4. A method and a device for determining and/or monitoring the volume flow rate and/or mass flow rate of a medium flowing through a container. In the case of the device, such is an ultrasonic flow measuring device, which works on the basis of the travel-time-difference principle. Additionally, a technique is presented whereby, on the basis of the results of measurement, also information is provided concerning change in some other system and/or process variable. To this end, the currently measured, actual measuring signals, or the corresponding actual measuring data, is compared with corresponding, stored set measuring signals, or set measuring data; a report is output, when a deviation arises between the set measuring signals, or set measuring data, and the actual measuring signals, or actual measuring data.
  5. A gas sensor arrangement for detecting the presence or concentration of an analyte in a measuring gas comprises a gas measuring chamber having an inlet for receiving the measuring gas. A measuring radiation source is arranged in the gas measuring chamber. The measuring radiation source emits radiation in a non-uniform pulse sequence according to a signal from a controller. A radiation detector receives the radiation emitted from the measuring radiation source. The radiation detector sends an output signal to the controller for processing.
