  1. An electric socket includes a rotation unit and a switching cap unit. The rotation unit abuts the conducting units inside the socket. The switching cap unit protrudes from the rest of the socket. The rotation unit may be moved along with the switching cap unit. When each of the two prongs of a plug is inserted into the two prong slots of the socket, a user may rotate switching cap unit by a certain angle so that the long sides of the rotation unit may press against the two conducting units of the socket; now, the two conducting units of the socket seize and lock the two prongs of the plug. To take out the plug, a user may rotate the switching cap unit in the reversed direction by a certain angle; now, the two long sides of the rotation unit no longer press against the two conducting units, and the plug may be taken out from the two slots.
  2. A control device (10) for an electrical switchgear with three switching positions including a closed position, an open position and an earthing position. The switchgear includes a main shaft (14) and a drive shaft (28). The control device includes a mode selector lever (30) designed to select one operating mode among a motor driven switching mode, a manual switching mode between the open position and the closed position of the electrical switchgear, and a manual switching mode between the open position and the earthing position of the electrical switchgear. The mode selector lever has an opening with a curved contour, and the control device includes a cam disk (50) with a cam (54) capable of moving inside the opening (40). The control device may be applied to an isolating switch.
  3. The invention provides a manual operation button having a large operable area. A manual operation button is composed of a manual operation plane, a holder for assembling the manual operation plane and a stopper for fixing the holder to a casing. The casing has a mounting hole having substantially the same size and shape as the manual operation plane, so that when the manual operation plane is assembled to the mounting hole, the manual operation plane forms a substantially continuous flat plane with the casing. The holder includes a substantially L-shaped mounting portion for mounting to the casing, a flat plate-like mounting plane for mounting the manual operation plane, and a hinge portion connecting the mounting portion and the mounting plane. The whole width of the hinge portion is disposed within the outer projection plane of the manual operation plane.

A multi-functional switching apparatus for bathroom showers comprises first/second control valves, first/second adjusting valve units, first/second control valve spindle units, and first/second handle units wherein the second control valve has a coupling portion fluidly connected to the first control valve. In addition to an upper valve, a watertight ring, a lower valve, and a hoop respectively, the first adjusting valve unit also has a packing piece, and the second adjusting valve unit a positioning collar. Both first/second control valve spindle units have a valve spindle with coupling sections and fixing sections disposed thereon respectively. An adjusting device is mounted to the first valve spindle, and a flow-switching device to the second valve spindle. The first/second handle units with a handle and a cross-shaped grip also include a fixed cover, a cover seat, and a cap respectively. Therefore, the present invention can regulate water discharge as demanded, providing multi-functional application thereby.
  5. A method for reacquiring a target in an automated video tracking system is provided. The method includes the steps of: selecting a desired target to be tracked; switching the automated video tracking system to an automatic mode to initiate a tracking sequence to automatically track the selected desired target; switching the automated video tracking system from an automatic mode to a manual mode if the automated video tracking system encounters a period of difficulty in tracking the desired target; reacquiring the desired target in manual mode; and switching the automated video tracking system to the automatic mode for automatic tracking of the reacquired desired target without initiating a new tracking sequence. An apparatus and automated video tracking system for carrying out the methods of the present invention are also provided.
