- Protective eyewear for protecting a wearer's eyes during a sporting event. The protective eyewear comprises a frame and a metal protective section. The frame includes a top support, a pair of armatures, and a grooved opening traversing the top support and each armature. The metal protective section includes a perimeter and a flat extension attached to the perimeter and shape to be removably engaged to the grooved opening in the frame. Additionally, the metal protective section includes a plurality of substantially aligned elongated bars horizontally segmenting the metal protective section. A plurality of cross members is vertically positioned to connect the elongated bars of the metal protective section and protect the eyes of the wearer.
- When a magnetic tape material is slit into a plurality of magnetic tapes, projections are formed in edge portions of side surfaces of the magnetic tapes. The projections are removed by pressing cutting tools against the edge portions of the side surfaces of the magnetic tape while transporting the magnetic tape. Thus, product quality of the magnetic tape is improved.
- The present invention provides servo band recorded magnetic tapes, manufacturing method of the tapes, servo band writers and servo band Writing method. The background magnetic flux transition zone is generated with one directional polarization of the magnetization along the servo bands on the magnetic recording tapes. The servo stripes are generated with the reverse polarity of magnetization in the background magnetic flux transition zone. Then the magnetic flux servo transition against the background has more contrast so that the detected servo signal which is differential signal can be maintained in a high level.
- An audio lanyard audio device provides a number of advantages not seen with earlier devices, including, (1) a pair of soft openings to accept the ear pieces of conventional eyewear in a manner that supports and engages several inches of the ear pieces of conventional eyewear with sufficient surface area and friction to hold the conventional eyewear securely, (2) provision of a length of softer foam material for fitting both the lanyard and convention eyewear ear pieces between the ear and head, (3) formation of a balanced combination when worn with conventional eyewear, and (4) the location of the controls and main electronics and battery at the rear for balance and easy reach by a user.
