  1. The present invention is directed toward a system and method that facilitates investment account transfers where the time standard for reliably accomplishing a transfer may be decreased. A system for facilitating investment account transfers includes an administrator, a rules engine, a service case manager, and a messaging engine. The administrator is configured to receive a transfer request and to initiate a transfer case. The administrator is also configured to cooperate with a rules engine to facilitate management of the transfer case in accordance with a set of business rules. Cooperating with the rules engine, the administrator is configured to initiate service cases comprising business process instructions which, when executed, advance the progress of the transfer case. A service case manager is configured to receive service cases from the administrator, and to perform the specific business processes specified therein. Finally, a messaging engine is configured to receive instructions from the service case manager and to transmit messages to appropriate parties at appropriate times in accordance with the specified business processes.
  2. A respirator containing filter cases uses cellular elements or positioning boards provided in filter cases to consistently secure a plurality of particle-shape refillable filter materials in place, to prevent air breathing in through the respirator from forming channels between the particle-shape refillable filter materials in the filter cases, so that the particle-shape refillable filter materials in the filter cases can properly filter the incoming air, and the service life of the respirator can be extended; and, using a recessed space formed inside the respirator body, where an appropriate space can be reserved between the casing and the user's nose and mouth to enlarge the breathing area of filtered air passing through the filter cases, reduce pressure drop, and enable less breathing effort to the user even after extended period of time in wearing the present invention of respirator containing filter cases.
  3. A method of determining pallet layers for placement by a material handling system robot can include identifying cases for inclusion in a pallet and identifying case dimension information for the cases. Using the case dimension information, the cases can be classified into at least one group, wherein each group is defined by a height range such that cases classified within a group have a height within the height range associated with that group. Cases of one of the groups can be assigned to locations within a pallet layer, wherein the pallet layer has an area within a predefined area range.
  4. The present invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising an internal combustion engine and a first electronic control unit (48) for controlling the engine depending on the setting of a manual throttle, an electronic control unit (45) for controlling the transmission, depending on a set position of a manual gear selector (46). The invention is characterized in that one of the control units is disposed, with fed-in parameters and thus at least knowledge of the target speed of the vehicle, the surrounding topology and the throttle opening position, to reduce the throttle opening, in those cases where the vehicle, relative to the target speed, has a speed below target speed and gravity can subsequently accelerate the vehicle. In a similar manner, the kinetic energy of the vehicle is used, in those cases where the vehicle has an above target speed and gravity can subsequently retard the vehicle.
  5. A battery container of an electric vehicle is installed on the battery container supporting stand of the electric vehicle body. The container is a composite type and formed through alignment and combination of first and second cases. There are connecting ports, mutually embedded and mounted, on the assembled sides of these cases. The connecting ports have positive and negative electric connectors that can be oppositely inserted and jointed. The electrodes of the batteries inside the two cases can be connected. The battery container supporting stand forms a shape of a supporting surface. To ensure that the cases are placed together on the battery container supporting stand after alignment and combination, the assemblies of the positioning structure are used to control the positioning of and detachment between the battery container supporting stand and the cases. The battery container of an electric vehicle can be easily detached for independent charge.
