  1. A combination bread toaster and steamer device and method includes inserting at least one piece of bread into a bread slot of a combination bread toaster and steamer device; placing water into a heater pan of a steamer compartment on the combination bread toaster and steamer device; placing another food into the steamer compartment; activating at least one bread heating element disposed adjacent the bread slot and a steamer heating element disposed adjacent the steamer compartment; and activation of the steamer heating element reducing wattage to the bread heating element that would be used by the bread heating element when operating alone.
  2. A method of making a loaf of crustless, sliced bread from a rectangular prismatic loaf of bread, the method comprising: decrusting the bread by moving the loaf of broad longitudinally past cutting blades to remove the crust from four sides of the loaf of bread; slicing the crustless bread by moving the loaf transversely past a plurality of blades to slice the loaf; and packaging the loaf by moving the loaf longitudinally to a packaging station.
  3. The present invention relates to a combined toaster and microwave oven having a function to cook food by using microwave and a function to bake bread. Accordingly, the present invention provides a combined toaster and microwave oven comprising: a body forming an appearance thereof; a cavity formed in the body, for accommodating objects to be cooked by using microwave; an electronic chamber provided at a portion inside the body and in which electronic parts for applying microwave into the cavity are installed; and a toaster. The toaster comprises: a toaster case provided in the front of the electronic chamber and having slits on both sides thereof; at least one tray assembly having means for receiving and ejecting bread and preventing the bread from slanting; and a heater assembly installed inside the toaster case, for heating the bread.

The present invention provides yeast belonging to the genus Saccharomyces which generates, in dough containing 5% sugar, carbon dioxide gas in an amount of not less than 2.0 ml per g of the dough and not less than 1.20 ml per ml of volume expansion of the dough at 38° C. in 60 minutes; a method of screening for the yeast; bread dough containing the yeast; a process for making bread using the yeast; and bread having an anti-mold effect which is obtained by the process.
  5. An electric oven capable of cooking food in a cook-top way. The electric oven according to the present invention includes a cabinet which forms an appearance of the electric oven, a cooking cavity defined inside the cabinet and having an opening front part to contain food therein, and a heater movably mounted in the cooking cavity and moves forward from the cooking cavity through the opening front part so as to cook food in cook-top way. The heater may heat the inner part of the cooking cavity also so as to cook food in a conventional oven-cooking manner.
