Technical Examples
- A method for sanitizing scuba diving equipment including aqua lungs, wet-suits, fins, caps and masks comprises exposing confined parts of the gear such as hoses, pressure regulators and mouthpieces to a pressurized flow of fluid using a fluid-conditioning spray gun adapted to mix a germicidal solution into a jet of water or other fluid carrier. The spray gun has a conical nozzle provided with a set of graduated, flexible, feather-edged disks or barbs that can hermetically mate with a number of scuba diving component apertures of different sizes and shapes.
- A method of digital creation of a multivision filter effect. The method includes the steps of initializing a plurality of layers and masks corresponding to the layers, wherein the layers and masks have the same dimensions as a picture, and each of the layers has pixel information of the picture, translating the layers and masks to positions determined according to user input, determining pixel values of each of the masks according to the positions thereof, and merging the layers to which the corresponding masks are applied.
- A diving suit and environmental detecting system includes a diving suit and aspirating assembly includes a torso portion, a first arm portion, a second arm portion, a first leg portion, a second leg portion, a head covering, a first glove, a facemask, a second glove and an air tank. A housing is mounted on the first glove. A display is mounted in the facemask. A processor is positioned within the housing and is electrically coupled to the display. The processor is adapted for receiving a plurality of input signals and altering the display based upon the input signals. A power supply is mounted on the diving suit and is electrically coupled to the processor. A locating assembly is electrically coupled to the processor and is adapted for determining a location of the diving suit with respect to a trasmitter and displaying the location on the display.
- The present invention is a near-sighted lens of a wide-vision diving mirror, wherein contracted latching pieces at the upper, lower, and inner sides of a front lens of a wide-vision diving mirror are latched into the latching slots of lens frames of a mask; two assembling sections are formed by cutting the other side of the front lens, and one side of the side lens, respectively. As there is no frame edge interfering with the vision in combing the front and side lens into a mirror via their assembling sections, a wide-vision and replaceable near-sighted diving mirror can be formed.
- In a system and method for producing functions for generating pseudo-random bit sequences, an extended shift register (ESR) is formed. Each bit in the ESR is shifted to a next higher bit and the lowest-order bit is replaced with an EXCLUSIVE-OR operation of at least two other bits in the ESR. A plurality of bit equations is generated. For each bit equation, a bit in the ESR is replaced with an AND operation between shifted contents of the ESR and one of a plurality of first bit masks that isolate the bit. Each of the plurality of bit equations is combined. Shifts of the same shift distance are merged. Redundant bit masks are removed. Bit masks are transformed into bit masks comprising a sequence of zero bits and one bits. Bit masks are replaced with bit shift operations to form a function for generating the pseudo-random bit sequences.
