  1. An audio signal generating apparatus is provided which makes it possible to supply a new music entertainment that enables users to actively participate in performance of musical compositions based on audio data that is coded in a predetermined format from audio signals, and a program for implementing the method, and a storage medium storing the program. Motion information corresponding to a motion of a user is acquired. An audio signal is acquired from audio data coded from the audio signal according to the predetermined format, and processing is performed on the acquired audio signal according to acquired motion information.
  2. The device 10 is a potty training device having a housing with a pivotal seat 14 positioned over a cavity 16 for receiving the waste material that is discarded by slidably removing the receptacle 18 that forms the base of the bowl-like cavity. The housing also provides shelf 24 or compartment space 20 for storage of items that can be used by the toddler or child 12. Also within the housing are electronic components for recording and playing a musical tune and/or audio clips. A pressure switch 30 positioned under the pivotal seat 14 causes a musical tune or prerecorded audio sequence to be played when the child sits on the pivotal seat 14. The user 12 can selectively record tune or audio clip to be played when the pressure switch 30 is engaged.
  3. Entertainment content complementary to a musical recording is delivered to a user's computer by means of a computer network link. The user employs a browser to access the computer network. A plug-in for the browser is able to control an audio CD or other device for playing the musical recording. A script stored on the remote computer accessed over the network is downloaded. The script synchronizes the delivery of the complementary entertainment content with the play of the musical recording.
  4. There is provided a communication terminal apparatus that enables quick response in screen display and quick retrieval of desired melodies in a musical tone data distributing service and reduces a communication fee. A java incoming call melody program including core display data is received from a server apparatus through the Internet and is stored in a RAM. When the stored program is executed, a display screen is formed based on the core display data according to the program and is displayed on a display. A cellular phone receives the distributing service by receiving desired musical tone data from the server apparatus via the Internet using the display screen.
  5. A recording medium for storing encrypted audio data, an apparatus and a method for recording the same, and an apparatus and a method for reproducing the same. Encrypted and unencrypted audio data corresponding to an audio program to be reproduced, such as a musical selection, are recorded in different areas of a recording medium. The encrypted audio data allows a reproduction of the audio program with a sound quality far better than a reproduction of the audio program using the audio data which is not encrypted. The audio data is encrypted and recorded to prevent illegal copying of the higher quality sound data. Accordingly, audio data may be reproduced using the unencrypted audio data in a reproducing apparatus complying with existing specifications. Higher quality audio may be reproduced from the encrypted audio data using the present invention.
