- The invention relates to a light string having bulb assemblies with various connective statuses, wherein the bulb assembly includes a shell to receive the bulb holder and the bulb. The shell is provided with a male flange and a female groove for connecting with another groove and another flange of related shells respectively. The connective bulb assemblies of the light string display a stable outlook, which is also variable by adjusting the connecting position between the bulb assemblies, to provide various decorative effect.
- A solid state light bulb for attachment to a lamp socket. The light bulb uses a number of super bright LEDs or color LEDs mounted within a hollow housing to replace a standard bulb such as a 60 Watt bulb. A stepped, reverse conical interior wall distributes and diffuses the light to project the appearance of a normal bulb. An upper lens of the housing may be removable to form a spot light effect.
- A backstop socket structure to prevent a lamp string from turning-off upon a bulb dropped unintentionally, which comprises a fuse-type bulb mounted in a socket of a lamp string and a plurality backstop sockets; each backstop socket is furnished with two contact copper plates, which are furnished with two spring reeds in close contact state normally; the bulb base has a rod stub under the center of the bulb base; after the bulb base is plugged in place, the rod stub would push the two spring reeds separated from each other; in case of a bulb base being dropped or missing, the two spring reeds will be in close contact state as a result of the resilient force thereof so as to keep the lamp string in lighting up state.
- A unique dispensing package easily, quickly and economically encases decorative light strings within a thin walled, flexible plastic tube. The plastic tube is provided to the user as a longitudinally compressed hollow column encased in the dispensing package. As a string of lights is passed through the hollow column, the tube is expanded and dispensed onto the string. The string of lights is thereby protected against damage and dust. The plastic tube also prevents tangling of the light string, permitting greater convenience for storage and for reuse.
- A vacuum driven light bulb changer. The device has a power source that energizes an electrical circuitry so that when the power switch is activated it energizes a motor that activates a vacuum pump. The activation of the vacuum pump draws air into the intake head on the vacuum cup. When the vacuum cup is place firmly against the outside surface of a light bulb, the vacuum creates a depressurized zone against the outside surface of the light bulb and the inside bottom surface of the vacuum cup allowing the turning of the light bulb.
