Technical Examples
  1. A player makes a wager and initiates game play, dealing a first hand of at least five cards all face up to the player. The player may hold none, one or more of the face up cards and draw replacement cards for the unheld cards. The player also has the options to wager on and duplicate none, one or more of the dealt cards into one or more five-card hands. If the player holds none of the cards and duplicates the dealt cards only, the player can hold the cards in the dealt hand and the duplicated hands in any traditional manner the player selects. The player is also given the option to select none, one or more winning outcomes for one or more of the five card hands.
  2. An interactive game system for providing a spoons related game that promotes education of the United States. The interactive game system includes providing a card deck, a plurality of data cards, a plurality of playing spoons, and a data spoon. The data cards and the data spoon preferably include information regarding a subject such as the United States or a specific state. Based upon the number of players (N) present, N-1 data cards are inserted into the card deck and N-2 playing spoons along with the data spoon are placed in the center of the playing table. Each player is dealt five cards and the dealer then draws a card from the card deck. The dealer then may retain or pass the card to the player to their left. Play is continued until a player has four matching playing cards and a data card in their hand.
  3. A method of playing a casino table version of cribbage using at least one deck of conventional playing cards, having at least one player making a wager and a dealer that deals the cards. The method includes having at least one player making a wager to receive a plurality of cards. Next, the cards are dealt to each player and the dealer is dealt a plurality of cards, wherein four random cards are dealt to create the dealer hand. The players discard either one or two cards depending on the method chosen. The dealer then exposes his cards and discards two cards. Next, the starter card is exposed. Finally, the players' cards are exposed and values of the hands are computed and compared to the dealer's hand. The method includes determining whether the players win or lose their wager.
  4. A computer implemented method and system for enterprise wide planning is disclosed. In an embodiment, one or more work card templates are initially defined. Then a plurality of work cards representing a project are received and compared with the work card templates. Scheduling parameters from the work card templates are added to the matching work cards. Then, expected non-routine work cards are added to the work cards. Next, the expected non-routing work cards and the operational work cards are scheduled.
  5. A method and system for simulating games of chance using cards are disclosed using a shuffler to shuffle a set of cards and dispensing one or more cards. Current regulations prohibit certain game operators from using certain games such as traditional craps and roulette. By simulating those games with cards, operators can still provide players with games they recognize and thereby develop excitement and new gaming alternatives for their players, as well as draw new players to such games through their familiarity with the indicia on the cards.
