  1. A method and system for processing negotiable economic credits (e.g., cash, credit card, enterprise incentives/award such as frequent flier miles, etc.) through a hand held device. Credits are storable in the form of credit data in a credit database associated with a point of sale and/or hand held device. Credit is retrievable from the credit database, in response to synchronizing a hand held device, such as a PDA, wireless PDA, paging device, cellular telephone, or other hand held computing device, with the point of sale. Credit data may be transferred to/from the hand held device, thereby permitting a user to maintain and manage enterprise credits based on the credit data, utilizing the hand held device. In one embodiment, when a particular number of enterprise credits have been earned, the user may utilize such credits to receive price discounts on enterprise products or services, or awards of such products or services. A user may also use credits earned for enterprise sponsored credit programs unrelated to transactions at unrelated enterprise having compatible points of sale for providing/receiving/processing credits, so long as credits are recognized at a point of sale.
  2. A transmission base flow control device including a first credit counter, shared by an active system and a preparatory system of a reception device, managing a credit value of the active system; a second credit counter and a third credit counter counting the credit values for each system of the active system and the preparatory system of the reception device; a differential counter holding a difference between the credit value counted by the second credit counter and the credit value counted by the third credit counter; and a control unit matching, according to the difference held by the differential counter, the credit values of the first credit counter and the second credit counter or the credit values of the first credit counter and the third credit counter with a credit value corresponding to the reception device of a new active system after switching the system of the reception device.
  3. An anonymous credit card has a unique identification number and a card value, which is exhausted when the cash amount of the card is expended. The card is sold by a first vendor and accepted by a second vendor when presented by the user. It is managed by an issuing institution, which verifies the presence of sufficient funds to cover the cost charged and deducts the charge cost from the card value. The card has a limited monetary value, which is advantageous if it is lost or stolen. No connection exists between the card and its owner. As a result, the owner's credit rating cannot be tarnished by actions of a third party.
  4. A method and apparatus for performing secure online transactions provides a user interface that is intuitive and easily to understand. The invention integrates an online wallet service with credit card issuers that provide online credit card authentication services. The method provides a keypad interface for PIN entry, or an interface that resembles an offline transaction receipt. The apparatus that stores personal information and credit card information uses a level-two authentication password to protect the user's credit card information. The invention integrates with the credit card issuer when a personal identification number is required for the user to perform online transactions by the credit card issuer. The embodiments include integrations when the level-two authentication password is equivalent to the personal identification number and that when they or not equivalent.
  5. An Accounts Receivable System (ARS) provides an option to a client to outsource the client's accounts receivable function. The ARS is divided into five separate modules, which includes a Credit Inquiry Module, a Remittance Processing Module, an Accounts Receivable Claim Module, a Maintenance Module, and an Administration Module. The ARS provides a full range of trade receivables Credit & Collection services involving credit evaluation, credit granting, customer collection and account reconciliation, cash receipt, application and banking, all account receivables (A/R) reporting, consolidation, including customer statement preparation and mailing, ending with direct feeds to the client's general ledger system (G/L) for the client's financial statement preparation.
