- A method and apparatus for flexing a concealed holster to secure the contents of the holster in the holster. An elongate substantially rigid elastically flexible sling is secured to a side of the holster such that the elongate member and side of the holster can be partially separated so the wearer's shirts can be inserted therebetween to conceal the holster. The lower end of the sling can be flexed outwardly away from the side of the holster such that a portion of the outer side adjacent the lower end is, when the sling is flexed outwardly to insert the wearer's shirt, flexed inwardly to compress a pistol in the storage compartment.
- A three-dimensionally constructed warp knit fabric formed to include front-surface and back-surface ground knit constructions and connection yarns interconnecting the front-surface and back-surface ground knit constructions has insertion yarns between the connection yarns, in which the insertion yarn is fixed along the inner side of the back-surface ground knit construction. Further, the insertion yarn is fixed by a fixing yarn to the back-surface ground knit construction.
- Device for screwing caps onto bottles and similar containers includes a work station, which supports a device for gripping the caps and which moves toward and away from the bottles, carried by a relative feeding line. An actuator, associated to the work station, drives the gripping device into rotation, so as to screw the caps onto the corresponding open heads of the bottles. - A filter includes first and second axially spaced end caps having filter media extending axially between the end caps and extending in a closed-loop around a perimeter defining a hollow interior communicating with an axial flow opening through one of the end caps. One or more columns extend axially in the hollow interior between the end caps and are laterally spaced from the axial flow opening and have hollow sub-interiors for receiving one or more posts extending axially thereinto from a base for mounting the filter to the base in axial compression and with a wiper seal.
- A method for producing intarsia designs with a circular knitting machine, which consists in correlating, for each row of knitting of the design to be produced, sets of needles, which are meant to reduce the regions (2,3,4,5) of the design in different colors or with different threads, with respective feeds or drops of the machine that dispense the corresponding threads, and in moving so as to knit the needles of each set of needles at the corresponding feed or drop by actuating the needle cylinder with an alternating rotary motion about its own axis, with an extent of oscillation that is sufficient to produce the transit of all the needles moved so as to knit of each set of needles at the corresponding feed, forming knitting both in the forward rotation and in the return rotation of the needle cylinder. At least the needles located at the ends of each set of needles are moved so as to knit both at the feed or drop that is correlated with the set of needles to which it belongs and at the feed that is correlated with the contiguous set of needles in order to join one another the various regions of the design.
