BRACELETS CLOCKS WATCHES NON-MONETARY COLLECTIBLE
Technical Examples
- A compact fare paying device has a housing for receiving a monetary member and at least one verifier unit in the housing for determining the authenticity of the monetary member. A storage device such as a safe can receive the monetary member or a return device can return it to the user. A control unit can compute the monetary value of the monetary member and compare the monetary value to a stored required fare value. If the monetary value is greater than the fare value, the monetary member can then be translated to the return device. If the monetary value is less than the stored fare value, the monetary member is stored for a predetermined time period to enable the user to deposit the required fare. If it is not deposited within the predetermined time period, the temporarily stored monetary value is translated to the return device.
- A time display device ("TDD")-equally adaptable to watches, clocks, computers, phones, and vehicles-indicates the current hour of the day by displaying a color that refers an observer to the disclosed color-to-hour matrix, thereby eliminating the traditional hour hand or digit altogether. Alternately adaptable to months, the system may be used with both mechanical and electronic displays. Various disclosed minute indicators provide minute indication by shape, complexity, company logo, air bubbles, or other novel methods. Environmental sensors allow switching between functions. TDD appearance is user-customizable via Internet. Birthstones, gemstones, and precious metals are alternately used as stand-alone time indicators.
- An image processing system according to the present invention is provided with a first switch control section configured to select clocks in accordance with an image processing mode, from among a plurality of clocks a first clock generating section generates for operating an image processing section, a storage section used for image processing, and a second clock generating section which enables an operation to be performed based on clocks faster than those used in the image processing mode, in accordance with an operation of the storage section. When direct access to the storage section is externally executed in an image processing mode, the image processing system causes a second switch control section to switch clocks from the clocks which are as fast as those used in the image processing mode to the clocks which enable an operation to be executed in accordance with the operation of the storage section.
- The invention efficiently decreases EMI noise occurring with regard to the entirety of an electronic apparatus with a plurality of clocks as references for the operations. The spread spectrum is applied to the clock used by the largest number of ICs, that is, a display clock from among three types of clocks.
- A system includes a global positioning system that tracks and monitors the school and daycare transportation, a plurality of barcode scanners which enter the children into the system and a plurality of barcode bracelets, with a barcode bracelet provided to each of the children that is scanned with the plurality of barcode scanners when a child is entering onto and coming off of the school and daycare transportation. There is also a plurality of school stations that enter and remove the drivers from the system and a central control center that constantly monitors the plurality of school stations and the global positioning system, the plurality of barcode scanners and the plurality of barcode bracelets.
