  1. Safety arrangement comprising a unit to be located beneath a bonnet of a motor vehicle. The unit is adapted to become of increased length in response to a signal from a sensor and may comprise a bellows-sleeve and a gas generator. The unit has a catch arrangement adapted to engage part of the bonnet structure so that part of the bonnet structure is engaged and retained when the length of the unit is increased.
  2. A bucket has a pair of longitudinally parallel and spaced apart pins for attaching to a pin grabber quick coupler. The pins may require removal from the bucket for repair or replacement if the pins are damaged. One or more windows are formed in the side of the bucket for facilitating access to and the removal of the pins from the bucket.
  3. The edges of portions of a base member that are joined to stem pins are arranged as bottom surfaces of recesses formed in the stem so that the stem pins are joined to the base member at gradual angles and so that even when a bending force acts on the stem pins, the stem pins will contact the peripheral portions at the open sides of the recesses, thereby preventing further bending of the stem pins and preventing the forming of cracks at both sides of the portions at which the stem pins are joined to the base member. Furthermore, triple junctions, at which the conductive stem pins, the insulating base member to which the stem pins are joined, and vacuum intersect, are positioned inside the recesses and put in concealed-like states.
  4. This invention presented is a detachable light-emitting device having a head connecting portion and a base integrally formed. The base has a circuit board installed thereon, assembled with a light permeable portion. A switch, a power outlet for holding a battery and luminous bodies on the circuit board and placed inside the light permeable portion. The light permeable portion has a bonnet assembled on the upper portion thereof and over a push-button end of the switch. A push-button portion has the lower portion thereof assembled on a power button, a spring is then assembled between the bonnet and the power button for providing a restorable elastic strain for the push-button portion. The assembly of this invention enables the light-emitting device to be easily attached to and detached from an object, thereby adding light-emitting effect and function to the object.
  5. An electrical connector includes a housing, a plurality of contact pins, and at least one shield plane provided on the outside of the housing. Some of the contact pins are electrically connected to the at least one shield plane to define shield contact pins and some of the contact pins are not electrically connected to the at least one shield plane to define signal contact pins. In one embodiment, the shield plate includes deformable finger portions to be pressed against selected contact pins. In another embodiment, the contacts include shield engaging contact arms, some of which are to be removed while others remain. The removal may be performed while the contacts are on a carrier strip.
