  1. Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and system for augmenting a training database of an automated language-understanding system. In one embodiment, a training example in a first language may be received from the training database. The first language-training example may be translated to a second language output. The second language output may be translated to a first variant of the first language-training example. An action pair including the first variant of the first language-training example and an action command associated with the first language-training example may be stored in an augmented training database.
  2. A sports training apparatus having a substantially resilient elongated arm support coupled to straps adapted to surround an athlete's shoulders to hold the arm support securely against the athlete's chest and under the athlete's arms to facilitate the proper training position for a variety of sports activities. Methods of using the training apparatus are also disclosed.
  3. Improving the frequency with which agents complete training in a call center or other constituent contact environment. Agents working in call centers are typically given periodic training to improve their skills. Training breaks are scheduled at various times throughout the day that can depend on the workload of the call center. However, often times the agents are unable to receive or complete their training during the scheduled training break due to unexpected work loads and other interruptions. The present invention enables monitoring and recording of whether training is received and completed during a training break. If the training was not completed, the training break is stored and rescheduled for a later time. The invention also facilitates completion of missed training breaks by providing spontaneous training breaks during periods of unexpectedly lower workload at the call center.
  4. In a method for individualized training of hearing aid users a number of hearing training courses are stored in a databank. An individual user profile is acquired in a training device. A transmission of the hearing training data from the databank to the training device and/or vice versa ensues via a data network before or during the implementation of the hearing training. The training thus ensues adapted to the respective user profile by means of one or more individualized hearing training courses.
  5. A customer support system for improving the skill of a person engaged in a business with reduced cost for technical training support and enhancing practical training. The customer support system includes a computer system for introducing training contents from a service providing side to a customer side through a computer network; an instructor training facility for training an instructor based on training contents; and a remote technique training support device for the instructor, for supporting technical training on the customer side, from the service providing side, through the computer network.
