- Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a composite high voltage insulator in which a plurality of skirts are manufactured and joined to a rod, and more particularly to a method for manufacturing a composite high voltage insulator in which an expanding pipe is inserted into a plurality of skirts arranged in a line by a skirt holder to expand the inner diameters of the skirts, so that the skirts are mounted on precise positions of the rod, and an adhesive agent is easily applied, so that an interface between different materials is not formed in order to improve reliability of insulator products.
- Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for a street sweeper having a conveyor assembly. The conveyor assembly has a pair of rollers and a conveyor belt connected therebetween. The conveyor assembly is provided with debris skirts to lift the edge of the conveyor belt to prevent debris from traveling over the edge of the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt is formed into a concave orientation. The debris skirts is also connected to a rub rail to provide a dynamic seal along the length of the conveyor belt edges. The conveyor assembly is also provided with a roller scraper for removing debris accumulated upon the rollers. The roller scraper is adapted to envelop a portion of the roller. The conveyor assembly is also provided with a liquid delivery system for assisting in the removal of debris from the roller.
- A tent (10) having a fabric enclosure (16) which including a number of walls (18), a floor (22) having a floor perimeter (4) and a framework (14) which supports the fabric enclosure (16) and urges it to expand outwardly. The walls (18) meet the floor (22) and are attached together at a joining seam (25) near the floor perimeter (4). The floor (4) is preferably a tub floor (32) which is joined to the walls (18) at the joining seam (25) which is at a distance vertically removed from the ground plane. One or more skirts (34) are attached to the walls (18) at a distance vertically removed from the ground plane. The skirts (34) are attached external to the floor perimeter (4) and overlap a portion of the walls (18) so that the wall portion and floor perimeter (4) is protected from rainfall.
